What is Rent a Toyota?
Rent a Toyota is a vehicle rental system available only through Toyota dealers. It was designed to assist our dealership in offering quality temporary transportation to our customers - from service loaner or insurance replacement vehicles to retail rentals for extended test-drives or special travel plans.

Why should I choose Toyota Rent a Car instead of another rental company?
Unlike other rental companies, Rent a Toyota is Toyota dealer based. This means that not only do you have an opportunity to rent the latest model Toyota, but you get the quality customer service expected at our Toyota dealership.

Are Rent a Toyota rates competitive with other rental agencies?
Yes, we are committed to satisfying current and prospective Toyota owners. We are able to provide very competitive rates since the vehicle and the facility are part of our dealership. Please contact us for rates.

Can I rent a vehicle at one location and return it to another location?
At this time, if a Toyota has been rented from us, the vehicle must be returned to our dealership.

Can I rent any Toyota vehicle?
We have a wide variety of the latest models available for rent. Please contact us for available models.

Can I buy the vehicle I am renting?
Absolutely. Most of our Rent a Toyota vehicles are available to purchase after their short four-month in service period. Please contact us for details.

Can I take the vehicle I rented into Mexico or Canada?
Rent a Toyota vehicles are allowed in the continental United States, Alaska, and Canada. Rent a Toyota vehicles are not covered in Mexico.

Are there age restrictions on the person renting the Toyota?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years of age to rent a Toyota vehicle. Please contact us for exact age requirements.

Are there any other restrictions?
You need a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your own name to rent a vehicle in the Rent a Toyota program. Proof of full coverage insurance may be required at the time of rental. *Please call for full details.

RENT A TOYOTA POLICY
Customers must provide a current, valid U.S. driver's license, proof of full coverage insurance, and be at least 21 years of age to drive a rental car.
Customers must also provide a major credit card or debit card for fuel, mileage or cleaning charges. Rental cars are limited to the United States ONLY and prohibited from being driven into Mexico. Customers are responsible for any vehicle damage or other costs while the rental vehicle is in their possession, and are expected to return rental vehicles in the same condition they received them except for ordinary wear.
Rental vehicles being paid for by Toyota Warranty, Service Department, Sales Department or another entity DOES NOT INCLUDE FUEL used by the customer. Customers must return the vehicle with a FULL FUEL tank. A charge of $6.00 per gallon will be assessed to customers returning vehicles less than full of fuel. SMOKING in rental vehicles is PROHIBITED, and a $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged if necessary. Transporting animals in rental vehicles is prohibited, and a $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged if necessary. Rental vehicles being paid for by a third party must be returned within 24 hours of vehicle repairs being completed or customers will be charged the retail rate for each additional day the customer retains the rental vehicle. In TX our fuel charge is $6.00/gallon $100.00 cleaning charge for pets.
